This craptastic photo was taken a couple days ago, when my tips were purple and adorable. It often occurs to me that I still look like a five year old.

Day Nine: A Photo That You Took
I decided to do something really fun with this one. Looking through my photos, I realize I have 37 consecutive months of photography. Each month has a photo of myself, so I went through and put them all in. You'll notice February is missing. I did that on purpose. And to go with the "theme" of the day, all except approximately six of these were taken by me. Here we go:
#1 - January 2007:

#2 - February 2007:
#6 - June 2007:
#7 - July 2007:
#12 - December 2007:
#22 - October 2008:
#26 - February 2009:

Day Eight: A Photo That Makes You Angry/Sad.
I don't have a lot of photos from that summer, something I'm exceptionally thankful for. I have photos of them, but very few of myself. I don't want to see photos of me. I don't want to see how miserable I had to have been. But this photo makes me sad thinking about what led up to this event. Weeks of sadness. Cuts on my arms. Years of feeling on and off sad. Despair.
Depression is scary stuff. But I finally got help. But this photo represents that summer. And it makes me so, so sad.

Day Six: Whatever Tickles Your Fancy
There are few things I miss about being home. I don't miss High School or working at Cassanos. But I do miss being with my family. I miss my mother. I really miss what I did today, which was spending the day with my Great-Grandma. When I'm home, I'm there every single Saturday. I love it. I don't mind that I might miss "normal" teenage activities in the process. I always remember that I won't always have my Great-Grandma around. So I remember to soak it up while I can.

Day Five: Your Favorite Quote
I discovered this quote on Tumblr, I think. Maybe before that. But my first memory of it was when I was on Tumblr one night this summer, sad as could be. And someone had reblogged this quote and it was exactly what I needed to hear. Exactly what a lot of people need to hear.
